ONNJ GETS A SNEAK PEAK BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S ‘CORTEO’ AT PRUDENTIAL CENTER

Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Corteo’ has made Newark its home this weekend at the Prudential Center.

Since its creation in 2005, the family-friendly show has amazed over 10 million spectators, in 20 countries, on 4 continents. The story of Corteo follows a clown, who pictures his own funeral taking place in a carnival atmosphere.

Hundreds of performers, and crew members work endless hours to make the show come to life at a brand new venue each week,  and every detail, even in the costumes and makeup is taken care of.

What sets Corteo apart, is the wide array of talent portrayed in the show from artists all over the world. Like juggler Svetlana Tsarkova, who has been performing for 20 years.
