Thanks to the Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center at Ramapo College of New Jersey, another cold case has been solved. The team was able to help identify an 18-year-old woman who went missing in New Mexico in 1991, as Becca Mallekoote, on what would have been her 53rd birthday.

According to reports, the Rutgers women’s basketball team is looking to hire Gary Redus as its next head coach. Redus, currently an assistant coach with LSU, would replace Coquese Washington, who was let go earlier this month.

Joseph Fleres was chosen as the next superintendent of the Bloomfield Public School District, after serving as assistant superintendent for the past seven years. According to a statement from the school board, Fleres will start his new role on July 1st.

The Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange has announced the passing of its North American River Otter, Han. At almost 20 years old, Han was one of the oldest river otters in North America.
