46-year-old Victor Rosado, of Phillipsburg, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a child from 2015 to 2016. The victim was between the ages of nine and 11 years old at the time.

Two Ocean County men were charged with narcotics distribution. Police executed search warrants on homes in Toms River and Jackson, as well as a storage facility in Brick, and seized large amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine.

Washington Township Schools Support Services gathered in the high school parking lot for their annual “Stuff the Bus” initiative. The goal is to collect school supplies, gift cards, clothing and games to support the community.

Detectives with the High Tech Crimes Unit, from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, recently made a visit to Clayton High School. They gave a presentation to parents and other community members about social media safety.
