Authorities are investigating, after a three-alarm fire burned through an auto body shop on Richards Avenue in Dover. No injuries were reported. According to reports, the building is owned by the town’s mayor, James Dodd.

The parents of a nine-year-old student have *filed a lawsuit against the Alpine School District. They claim their son was wrongly accused of sexually assaulting another student, and that he had to be placed in private school as a result of the incident.

Atlantic Health and Morristown Medical Center – held a ground-breaking ceremony for the new Proton Therapy Center. State Senator Anthony Bucco was there and – shared his story as a cancer survivor.

The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office has announced the passing of former Undersheriff Clifford Daniels. Daniels worked with the agency from 1970 until 2009, and also served as warden of the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
