Members of the New Jersey Department of Corrections Central Office Headquarters Wellness Committee delivered donated supplies to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and the Trenton Public School District. Jim Ryan was recently sworn in as chief of the South Brunswick Police Department. He’s served the department for the past 31 years, including the last eight as deputy chief.

Ryan becomes the seventh chief in the department’s 90-year history.

A new bill, sponsored by New Jersey Assemblywoman Marisa Sweeney, would require AI companion platforms to be fully transparent that users are not interacting with humans. This comes amid concerns of AI’s impact on mental health and real-world relationships.

The Mental Health Association in New Jersey, based in Springfield, added four members to its board this month. Congratulations to Lei Chen, John Lonsdorf, Suzanne Kunis and Yannick Ladson.
