A 26-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Mount Olive. The victim collided with a car at the intersection of Route 206 and Oakwood Drive North. He was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.

One man was killed and another person was injured during a shooting in Newark. Police found the two suffering from bullet wounds on Bloomfield Avenue. The 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

Atlantic City Commissioner Ernest Coursey has died. He held the position for four terms, but earlier this year, announced he wouldn’t seek a fifth term due to health concerns. Coursey was 62 years old.

Mayor Jackie Veasy held a swearing-in ceremony for ten promoted members of the Evesham Township Police Department. The new ranks include four sergeants, three lieutenants, two captains and a deputy chief.
