NJPAC’s Dodge Poetry in the Community program is helping teens across the city find their voice–and use it. Through powerful workshops, mentorship, and now a brand-new Youth Ambassador program, young artists are learning how to channel their words into real impact. Producer of Poetry and Social Impact at NJPAC, Ysabel Gonzalez, joins the show to talk about the work they’re doing with Newark youth and how poetry is becoming a tool for change.
