It’s budget season in New Jersey, and one issue getting attention in Trenton is nursing home funding and accountability. Nearly 40,000 New Jersey residents live in nursing homes, and advocates say families deserve a clearer picture of how taxpayer dollars and resident payments are being spent. Joining us now are Laurie Brewer, New Jersey Long-Term Care Ombudsman, and Ray DiFrancesco of Nursing Home Residents United.
