New Jersey continues to face a major shortage of affordable housing, with the state estimated to be about 230,000 affordable homes short of what residents need. The new state budget does include more funding for housing production than last year, but advocates say the investment still falls far short of addressing the scale of the problem. Staci Berger, President and CEO of the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey, joins the show to break down what the budget means for housing and communities across the state.
