We’re continuing to countdown to Election Day. As we examine the most urgent issues shaping the state, we turn our attention to a topic that often goes unheard, yet affects thousands of New Jersey’s most vulnerable residents.
Joining us now are Ray DiFrancesco and Louis Bonilla, both residents of New Jersey nursing homes and passionate advocates for increasing the Personal Needs Allowance, or PNA. This small monthly stipend is intended to help nursing home residents cover basic personal expenses not included in their care, things like toiletries, clothing, or a haircut.
