NFL fans, get ready as training camp is around the corner and it’s getting closer to Week 1 of the season.
The NFL officially released the training camps dates and locations for all 32 teams on Monday. All NFL rookies are to report to training camp in mid-July, while all NFL veterans report to camp by July 28th.
Starting off with the New York Giants, rookies are to report to training camp on Thursday, July 23. All of the Giants’ veterans are to report to training camp the following week on Tuesday, July 28.
The Giants will start the first part of camp away from the Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, NJ. With the World Cup at MetLife stadium happening throughout the summer, the team will hold their practices at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. After the conclusion of the World Cup, the Giants will return back home to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center ahead of their preseason games. The team’s training camp practice dates that are open to fans will all take place in West Virginia on July 30-31, August 1, and on three straight days from August 5 to 7.
The New York Jets rookies are to report to the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, NJ, on Saturday, July 25. While all of the Jets veterans will report to training camp on Tuesday, July 28. And the Philadelphia Eagles rookies and veterans both report to training camp to the Jefferson Health Training Complex in Philadelphia on July 28. Both the Jets and Eagles have yet to announce their open practices dates but fans should expect to find out soon.
With training camp around the corner, so are preseason games. Each team will play three games as the Eagles start off against the Baltimore Ravens on August 15. Then, the Eagles will play the New England Patriots on August 22 and will end off the preseason against the Cincinnati Bengals on August 28.
The Jets first preseason game is against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 14. The following week the Jets will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 21. And will end off the preseason against the New York Giants on August 28.
The Giants first preseason game is against the Minnesota Vikings on August 15. The following week before ending the preseason off with the Jets, the Giants will play the Miami Dolphins on August 22.
The wait is almost over as camp is about a month away before NFL rookies and veterans report back to training camp.
