Delaware Valley erased a 15-point halftime deficit to top Hunterdon Central 69-62 in overtime to win the 2026 Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Boys Basketball Championship game at Hackettstown High School on Feb. 20, 2026.

The Group 2 Terriers trailed the the Group 4 Devils 31-16 at halftime, but Del Val outscored Central 41-26 in the second half to send the H/W/S Championship into overtime.  Delaware Valley did not tie game until Tommy Denvir hit a three-pointer with lass than two minutes remaining in the contest, and the Terriers did not take their first lead until a little over a minute had elapsed in OT.  From there, however, Del Val did not look back outscoring the Devils 12-5 in the extra stanza to take the victory.

Denvir led all scorers with 30 points, including five three-pointers.  Chase Kraucheunas and Lochlyn Marsh also fished in double-figures scoring for Delaware Valley.  Marsh finished the evening with 18 points while Kraucheunas collected 14 points for the Terriers.

Four Hunterdon Central players finished the game in double-digits scoring.  Gavin Baden and Owen Landi led the way for the Devils with 13 points apiece while Kieran Livingston contributed 12 points on four three-pointers and Stephen Hiaman De La Cruz added an addition 10 points for Central.

Delaware Valley will next host Spotswood in the opening round of the Central Jersey, Group 2 Tournament on Feb. 24, while Hunterdon Central will travel to Trenton for the first round of the Central Jersey, Group 4 Tournament on Feb. 24.
