Mountain Lakes topped an outmanned Northern Valley-Demarest 106-61 in the 2026 NJSIAA Girls Swimming North 1, Group C Championship on Feb. 12, 2026, at Passaic County Technical Institute.

The Lakers were led by Serena Dickey and Lorraine Barnard, who each had two individual first-place finishes.  Dickey placed first in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly, while Bernard earned top honors in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle.

Sooa Tani had the Norsemen’s lone first-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley and finished in second place in the 500-yard freestyle behind Dickey.

With the win, Mountain Lakes will meet New Providence in the Public C state semifinals on Feb. 19 at the Raritan Bay YMCA.
