IMAGES: Pair of Double-Doubles Propel Howell Girls Basketball Over Toms River South

Double-doubles from Kylee Beam and BellaRose Marino helped the Howell girls basketball team push past Toms River South, 50-40, on Jan. 31, 2026.

Beam led all scorers with 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Rebels, while Marino recorded 10 points and snatched 12 boards.  Payton Smith also scored in double figures for Howell, notching 10 points of her own.  Beam also hit a career milestone against Toms River South, scoring her 1,000th point during the contest.

Kylee Ford and Haley Johnson each scored in double figures for TRS.  Ford recorded 14 points while Johnson scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Rebels.

With the win, Howell improves to 14-4, while Toms River South falls to 12-4 with the loss.
