A 28-6 second quarter was the deciding factor in what was otherwise a close game as Ramsey topped Rumson-Fair Haven 68-57 in the 2026 NJSIAA Group 2 Boys Basketball State Championship game to earn their first boys basketball title in a little over three-quarters of a century.

Owen Farley and Charlie Taylor each had good games to lead the Rams.  Farley finished the evening with 18 points, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals.  Meanwhile, Taylor’s final stat line also included 18 points along with five rebounds and five assists.  Owen Crowley added 10 points and six rebounds for Ramsey.

Luke Cruz recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs.  Blake Ahmann added eight points, eight rebounds, and four steals to the RFH cause.

With the win, Ramsey concludes their season with a 23-9 record, while Rumson-Fair Haven finishes their season at 21-9.
