IMAGES: Renninger’s Double-Double Leads FDU to NEC Semifinal Victory Over Le Moyne

Ava Renninger notched a double-double, and the Fairleigh Dickinson women’s basketball team advanced past Le Moyne, 71-51, in the semifinals of the 2026 NEC Tournament at Bogota Savings Bank Center.

Renninger scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Knights.  She also dished out a team-leading five assists to go with her double-double.  Madlena Gerke and Rebecca Osei-Owusu added 13 and 12 points, respectively, for FDU.

With the win, Fairleigh Dickinson advances to face Long Island in the NEC championship game.  FDU is 2-0 against LIU, including a 59-58 win in Brooklyn and an 82-49 win in Hackensack.
