Six people are facing charges in connection to a stabbing at Wawa on Harrison Avenue in Kearny. Police say the incident– which happened back in September– involved eight to *ten people. The 18-year-old victim was hospitalized but has since recovered.

A Newark man was convicted of sexually assaulting a child on two different occasions – once in 2020 and again in 2023, when the victim was *nine and *twelve years old. 41-year-old Torean Nixon is scheduled to be sentenced in February and faces 25 years to life.

A Gloucester County Military Service Medal Ceremony was recently held at Juniper Village in Washington Township. The event honored *six local veterans for their service to our nation.
