33-year-old Stephen Karwowski pleaded guilty in a crash that killed a 52-year-old woman in Pennsville, back in 2021. Karwowski admitted to driving drunk at 112 miles per hour.

A former postal worker who was employed in Sewell, is facing federal charges. Jordan Harrison allegedly stole $30,000 in checks from mail on his delivery route, between February and July of last year.

Officers Michael Sheehan and Julian Guzman of the Lakewood Police Department received the 2025 Valor Award from the 200 Club of Ocean County. In May of last year, the two responded to a fire and rescued an unconscious victim.

Grassy Sound Fishing Pier in Cape May County has reopened following a $3 million dollar renovation project. The pier, which was closed because of structural concerns, now has a new bulkhead and lighting improvements. It allows free access to fishing and crabbing.
