IMAGES: Howell Captures Shore Conference Wrestling Title

Howell placed six wrestlers in title bouts at the 2026 Shore Conference Wrestling Championship, with two ending up victorious, helping the Rebels claim the team trophy with 186.5 points.

Tanner Hodgins and Tim O’Rourke were Howell’s individual champions.  At 190 pounds, Hodgins topped Alexander Reyes of Holmdel by major decision, 14-5, and O’Rourke decisioned Shawn Retta of Keansburg, 7-2, at 215.

Jackson Township finished in second place with 113 points, and Rumson-Fair Haven rounded out the top-3 in the team standings with 110 points.  Armani McCann and Tucker Pazinko were individual champions for the Jaguars, while Sonny Amato and Wyatt Fry took home individual titles for the Bulldogs.
