IMAGES: Bogota Football Hands Wood-Ridge First Loss of the Season

Jayden and Jaidin Gonzalez led the Bogota football team to a 29-18 upset over previously undefeated Wood-Ridge on Oct. 10, 2025.

Jayden led the Buccaneer offense, amassing 117 yards and a touchdown passing while carrying the ball 12 times for 45 yards and one touchdown.  Jaidin led the Bogota defense, collecting 10 tackles, two for a loss, a sack, and a pick-six.

Chris Rios and Melvin Zabaleta led the Wood-Ridge offense while Michael Prato and Nicolas Mabel led the Blue Devil defense.

Rios was 21-36 for 315 yards and a touchdown passing, and Zabaleta caught four passes for 120 yards on offense.  Prato and Mabel each had 10 tackles, with Prato recording one tackle-for-loss and Mabel adding a fumble recovery on defense.
